Danish Church

Iglesia Danesa

Located at Carlos Calvo 257 - Phone: 4362-9154
This is a Lutheran Protestan church, built in 1931, showing an unmistakable Nordic characteristic. In its interior we appreciate the typical chandelier brought from Denmark. You may visit this church while you are visiting Buenos Aires. From your vacation rental apartment take Subway Line C and exit at Estacion San Juan

Dorrego Square

Plaza Dorrego

This is San Telmo's most visited place. Declared National Historical Monument, this Square is a clear example of the City's oldest architecture. On weekdays all the cafes set their tables on the Square, allowing us to enjoy a charming ambience, much less busy than on Sundays when we have the Flea Market. From your Buenos Aires apartments rentals take Subway Line C exit Estacion San Juan.

El Obrero Trattoria

Cantina El Obrero

A typical neighborhood trattoria, on its walls we see taped pictures of tango characters and soccer players. Cheap and abundant dishes (we recommend rabas and homemade pasta). Waiter Guille recommends dishes and serves desserts made by his mother. To leave with a full belly and happy heart!

To go from your vacation apartment rental in Buenos Aires take a taxi as this area is pretty dark and there are no many police officers.

Colon Theater (Teatro Colon)

America's most important lyric theater. Enrico Caruso, Richard Strauss, Igor Stravinsky, Arturo Toscanni, and Luciano Pavarotti, among others, performed here. It was opened in 1908 after twenty years of construction. The Colon Theater is known as one of the Operas with the best acoustic in the world. We recommend the guided tours. Subway Line D exit at Estacion Tribunales.
