Information on tickets

All activities and shows in Buenos Aires Tango have free admission.
Some shows require admission in advance. Two tickets are handed per person for a maximum of 2 performances, and you can get them at the Casa de la Cultura, 575 Av de Mayo, in the following days and hours: From Wednesday 12 to Friday August 14 from 11am to 7pm for shows:

■ Teatro Avenida
■ Teatro San Martín
■ Planetario Galileo Galilei

Tickets for shows at the 25 de Mayo Theater, withdrew on the day of the event in 4444 Triumvirato Av.

National Historical Museum of the Cabildo and May Revolution

Museo Historico Nacional del Cabildo y la Revolucion de Mayo

Did you know that May 25th. is the most important patriot day of Argentina history? And the Cabildo of Buenos Aires was the seat of the May Revolution of 1810. It was the main institution of the city during colonial times. And it is one of Buenos Aires' oldest buildings that suffered many modifications. It is guarded by Granaderos (the National Guard). The museum keeps the memory of Colonial times. At the museum we see pieces of furniture, personal objects and portraits of members of the Cabildo and Primera Junta de Gobierno, and historical documentation. Subway line E exit Estacion Bolivar.
