National Historical Museum

Founded in 1889, in this museum you can visit key pieces of the Argentinean history: exotic pieces such as San Martin's campaign cot, Juan Manuel de Rosas' armchair and guitar, the inkwell that the Representatives of the Provinces used to sign the 1853 National Constitution, and Mariquita Sanchez de Thompson's piano. There also are 32 oil paintings on the war with Paraguay of the artist Candido Lopez that are worthwhile the visit to the museum. You may get there with Subway Line C exit Estacion Constitucion.
