Old Transporter Bridge
Nicolas Avellaneda Bridge
This iron structure is also known as "Old Bridge" or "Nicolas Avellaneda Bridge". Built in 1908, this transporter bridge was responsible for connecting the City of Buenos Aires with the Province of Buenos Aires. In between lays the Riachuelo River. Nowadays is not in use. Even today we can see the rowers at the base of the transporter, who join both shores with their boats, most of the time transporting workers.
